Phil Molfese brings a history of winning campaigns and public relations initiatives to the firm. From designing award-winning direct mail pieces to authoring numerous winning campaign plans, Molfese’s experience includes political campaigns from the local to national levels. Molfese is responsible for developing campaign mail strategies, crafting campaign messages, developing fundraising and field plans, as well as overall management of the firm’s public relations and legal marketing clients.

Beginning his career as a caseworker for then Congressman Mel Reynolds (D-IL), Molfese rose to Field Representative, serving as a liaison between the Congressman and local officials, and represented the Congressman to constituent groups throughout the district. After working for the Congressman, Molfese turned his efforts towards the management and general consultation of political candidates. He directed wining campaigns for Alderman, State Representatives and State Senators in several states. Molfese has developed mail for state-wide campaigns, members of the United States Congress, state legislators and local candidates. He founded Grainger Terry, Inc. in 2000, where his success has continued and expanded.

Molfese also brings non-political expertise to his position as Principal of the firm, having served as a Psychological Operations Specialist in the Special Operations Force of the United States Army Reserve, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of marketing campaigns for foreign audiences. As the Assistant to the Director of Corporate Securities at the AO Classical Financial Corporation in Moscow, Russia, Molfese researched securities traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

Molfese has a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University and has completed studies at the Moscow Institute for Advanced Studies, the J.F.K. Special Warfare College and the Ron Brown – Paul Tully Institute for Political Studies.
